Insurance Authorization- Patient Registration Specialist
Job Summary Under general supervision of the Registration Supervisor, the Patient Registration Specialist performs clerical and general office work of moderate difficulty, registers and pre-registers patients, schedules ancillary procedures, assists patients and guarantors with insurance, ensures that appointment is authorized, assists with account payment questions and collections, prepares deposits, and scans orders while maintaining a high level of customer service.
