Job Description
Position SummarySeeking a Quality Engineer to support manufacturing operations by driving stable, capable, and compliant production processes.This role partners cross-functionally to improve product quality, reduce variation, and ensure alignment with internal and customer requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as a technical quality resource within manufacturing, supporting process stability and product conformityDrive continuous improvement using quality and Six Sigma tools (SPC, root cause analysis, 8D, capability analysis)Support production in achieving quality, cost, and delivery targets, with emphasis on scrap reduction and first-pass yield improvementLead and support APQP activities, including development and maintenance of Control Plans, PFMEAs, Process Flow Diagrams, and Inspection PlansInvestigate internal and external quality issues, implement containment actions, and lead root cause analysis with cross-functional teamsEnsure timely and accurate completion of problem-solving documentation in line with customer and internal expectationsMaintain compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and applicable industry/customer standardsSupport audits, corrective actions, and ongoing quality system improvementsContribute to a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement within manufacturing operationsQualificationsBachelor's or technical degree in Engineering or related field, with 3+ years of quality experience in a manufacturing environmentASQ Certified Quality Engineer preferredWorking knowledge of core quality tools, including SPC, capability analysis, MSA, 5-Why, PPAP, and standard measurement/gauging practicesStrong problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams through root cause analysis and corrective actionsEffective organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneouslySolid project management and planning capabilitiesProven ability to follow established standards, procedures, and quality systems with consistency and attention to detailStrong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present information clearlyAbility to collaborate across all levels of the organizationProficiency with standard business software (e.g., Microsoft Office) and statistical tools (e.g., Minitab or equivalent)Team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to supporting operationsBilingual (English/Spanish) is a plusCompany Description Zobility (RGBSI), is dedicated to providing the highest quality of services to our clients and employees.
