Quality Technician

SUMMARYThe Quality Technician will conduct inspections on supplied and made-in product and input and analyze quality data to ensure compliance with ACO quality standards and other industry regulations.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.Conduct routine inspections of products and processes to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.Document inspection results and maintain accurate records.Prepare reports summarizing findings.Assist in the investigation of non-conformities and support root cause analysis.Collaborate with production and office teams to develop corrective and preventative actions.Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations (e.g., ISO).Work closely with production, engineering, and other departments to promote a culture of quality.Provide support during audits and inspections.Use measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, height gage, micrometers, thread gages) effectively and correctly. Experience with CMM a plus.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings (GD&T a plus).Work with production to improve in-process quality.Identify the root of technical issues and recommended fixes.Work with internal teams to increase customer satisfaction by improving the quality of the product.COMPETENCIESQuality/AccuracyTime ManagementCommunication ProficiencyEngineering PrinciplesAttention to DetailTechnical CapacityMathematics & StatisticsEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEAssociate or bachelor's degree in engineering or sciences.Minimum of two years related experience.OTHER SKILLSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
