This role involves overseeing the design, integration, operation, and maintenance of hardware and software systems while ensuring interoperability with existing enterprise networks. The ideal candidate will lead teams in planning and executing large-scale systems projects, performing trade studies, and addressing unique or complex technical challenges at locations like NAS Patuxent River, MD.Responsibilities include:Lead engineering efforts for system-level design, integration, and interface analysisOversee installation, fielding, operation, and maintenance of hardware and software systemsEnsure systems maintain interoperability with existing sponsor networksPlan and execute large-scale systems projects, including vendor comparison, trade studies, and cost analysisPerform systems engineering tasks across design, integration, and implementation phasesTroubleshoot unique or complex system problems, providing innovative solutionsProvide technical leadership to cross-functional teams in delivering mission-critical solutionsHere's what you need (Required Qualifications):Minimum 10 years of relevant engineering experienceAt least 3 years of experience with network systems and/or technologiesProven experience in system design, integration, and large-scale project planningStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to lead technical teamsBonus Points If You Have (Desired Qualifications):Experience working with NAVAIR/NAVSEA/NAWCADMission System Network Engineering experienceSecurity Clearance:Active DoD Top SecretEducation:Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical disciplineWork Schedule:Onsite, Monday - FridayCompensation and Benefits:The projected compensation range for this position is $175,000-200,000.
