CNC Machinist

CNC MachinistWe are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to program, set up, and operate CNC machines, mills, and lathes to produce precision molds. The ideal candidate will be adept at reading and interpreting 3D CAD models, blueprints, and technical data to determine machining requirements. You will also be responsible for setting up machines using fixtures, clamps, and overhead cranes for larger components and inspecting parts with precision measuring tools to ensure adherence to tight tolerances.Responsibilities:Program, set up, and operate CNC machines, mills, and lathes to produce precision molds.Read and interpret 3D CAD models, blueprints, and technical data to determine machining requirements.Set up machines using fixtures, clamps, and overhead cranes for larger components.Inspect parts using precision measuring tools and ensure adherence to tight tolerances.Essential Skills:Minimum of 3 years of experience in CNC machining.Experience with CNC programming and setup (editing required, no need to build from scratch).Experience with molds specifically.Proficiency in working with medium to large size parts.Additional Skills & Qualifications:Experience in performing small runs (1-8 parts) to a precision of.001 of an inch.Why Work Here?Enjoy the benefits of working in a family-owned company with a smaller crew, offering a tight-knit and supportive work environment.Work Environment:Our facility is climate-controlled, well-lit, and maintains a clean shop environment.Job Type & Location:This is a Permanent position based out of Hartford, WI.Pay and Benefits:The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $100500.00/yr.
