Real Estate Associate Attorney (2-10 Years)Location: Los Angeles or Orange CountyDirect Counsel is seeking a Real Estate Associate Attorney to join a highly regarded national midsize firm in its Los Angeles or Orange County office. This is an outstanding opportunity to join a sophisticated real estate practice representing developers and investors in complex transactional matters.Key Responsibilities:Manage a broad range of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and leasing mattersDraft and negotiate purchase and sale agreementsConduct and oversee due diligence, including title and survey reviewPrepare and review leases, subleases, licenses, and easementsAssist with loan documents, joint ventures, LLC operating agreements, and limited partnership agreementsSupport developers and investors on sophisticated real estate transactions from inception through closingQualifications:2-10 years of real estate transactional experience at a law firmStrong background handling acquisitions, sales, financing, and leasing transactionsExperience with purchase and sale agreements and real estate due diligenceFamiliarity with joint venture structures and finance documentsExperience with transactions involving eminent domain is a plusExcellent academic credentialsActive California bar admission requiredCompensation & Benefits:Base salary range: $150,000 - $300,000, depending on experienceAnnual bonus eligibility, including a 15% bonus opportunity tied to billable expectationsBillable hour target: 1,850 hours, including approved pro bono timeComprehensive benefits packageThis is an excellent opportunity for a mid-level real estate associate seeking sophisticated transactional work within a collaborative and nationally respected platform.
