Senior Data Engineer5+ years of Data Engineering experience. Strong hands-on Snowflake experience. Deep understanding of Snowflake architecture, data modeling, and development best practices. Experience building and maintaining data pipelines using DBT. Strong Python development experience. Experience with Apache Airflow. Experience working with modern cloud-based data platforms. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.Our client is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to support their Analytics Engineering organization, specifically within the Lab business unit. This individual will play a critical role in building and supporting data solutions that power laboratory operations across a global organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong hands-on Snowflake expertise and the ability to independently own data engineering initiatives after an initial onboarding and training period. This role combines both project-based development work and ongoing production support responsibilities.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using DBT, Python, Airflow, and Snowflake.Build and enhance data models and data structures supporting laboratory business production issues, service tickets, and ongoing maintenance activities.Partner with Product Owners and business stakeholders to deliver data solutions.Develop and optimize ETL/ELT workflows and data ingestion processes.Troubleshoot pipeline failures and performance issues.Operate as a primary data engineering resource within the Lab pod after onboarding.
