Accounting Clerk
Job Summary:We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounting Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing invoices, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring timely payments to vendors. This position requires strong organizational skills, accuracy, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:● Review, verify, and process vendor invoices and expense reports ● Match purchase orders, packing slips, and invoices ● Prepare and process weekly check runs and electronic payments ● Assist with reviewing vendor statements and forwarding discrepancies for review ● Maintain accurate accounts payable records and files ● Respond to vendor inquiries in a professional and timely manner ● Assist with filing and administrative support during month-end periods ● Follow company procedures for invoice processing and recordkeeping ● Support the accounting department with additional administrative tasks as needed Qualifications:○ High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in accounting or related field preferred ○ 1–3 years of accounts payable or general accounting experience preferred ○ Strong attention to detail and accuracy ○ Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel ○ Experience with accounting or ERP software preferred ○ Excellent communication and organizational skills ○ Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines ○ Team-oriented with a positive attitude and strong work ethic Compensation & Benefits:● Pay range: $19.00–$22.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications ● Health, dental, and vision insurance ● Paid time off and holidays ● 401(k) with company match ● Opportunities for growth and development Schedule:○ Full-time in Hallandale office ○ Monday through Friday 8:30am-5:00pm
