Supply Chain ManagerJoin a large biotech pharmaceutical leader as a Supply Chain Manager focused on procurement and inventory management. You will lead the process of acquiring materials, executing supply plans, and maintaining inventory levels to prevent shortages and minimize waste. The position is hybrid, with onsite work required 1-2 days per week in Holly Springs, NC. This is a key strategic role partnering cross-functionally to ensure seamless supply chain operations and supplier relationships.Key ResponsibilitiesCommunicate short-term and long-term inventory goals and management objectives to manufacturing teamsDevelop and implement inventory management tools, solutions, and methodologies to meet corporate site targetsMonitor and revise inventory levels based on demand and supply variability, and track monthly performance metricsEstablish and evolve supplier relationships for assigned commodities and service providersProcure materials through purchase orders, blanket orders, or vendor-managed inventory using SAP, Rapid Response, Ariba, or similar systemsCollaborate with manufacturing, quality, and production planning to maintain and update Bill of Materials (BOM) and master dataRelease forecasts and orders to suppliers, analyze and report supply and demand data to stakeholdersFacilitate cross-functional efforts to address material releases and inventory shortagesSupport issue resolution and coordinate with stakeholders as neededGenerate, review, and update SOPs, compliance records, and maintain purchasing documentation per cGMP standardsRequired Experience & SkillsProficient in inventory processes using SAP or other ERP systemsStrong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skillsExperience in procurement, supply planning, and inventory management within a regulated environmentPreferred QualificationsKnowledge of supply chain planning principles and inventory management theoryExperience handling single-use production parts and/or chemicals in the biotech or healthcare industriesHigh proficiency with computer systems, including SAP, Rapid Response, Excel, and SmartsheetUnderstanding of cGMP guidelines and raw material qualifications for the pharmaceutical industryStrong analytical, critical thinking, and data science skillsAbility to influence, negotiate, and build consensus across multiple levelsProject management experienceTop 3 Must Have SkillsSupply chain experience including procurement, planning principles, and inventory management or equivalent in engineering, manufacturing, or quality functionsExperience managing single-use production parts and/or chemicals/excipients in the biotech/pharma industryHigh proficiency with computer systems (SAP, Rapid Response, Excel, Smartsheet or comparable)Day-to-Day ResponsibilitiesPerform supply planning, procurement, management of raw materials, and manage relationships with suppliers and customers.Basic QualificationsDoctorate degreeMaster's degree and 2 years of experienceBachelor's degree and 4 years of experienceAssociate's degree and 8 years of experienceHigh school diploma / GED and 10 years of experienceThis posting is for Contingent Worker, not an FTE
