Litter Collection Aide

JOB REQUIREMENTS: The Portage County Solid Waste department is lookingto hire a seasonal, part-time Litter Collection Aide. This position willwork 2 - 8 hrs / week in March - November and on an as needed basis inDecember 2026. The primary job duties include: Removes litter and othergarbage/debris from the grounds using garbage bags hands, litterpickers, and or rakes and then putting it into garbage bags or trashcarts. Properly dispose of litter/garbage in the Transfer Facility.\*\*\*\*\* OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to work in allweather conditions. Maintain composure while picking up putrid smellingitems.
