Trust Officer

Trueline's client, a boutique Nevada trust company serving high-net-worth individuals and international families, is seeking a Trust Officer / Senior Trust Officer to join their team in Las Vegas, NV (primarily remote). This role is ideal for a trust professional with Nevada trust experience who enjoys sophisticated trust structures, direct client interaction, and working within a highly personalized fiduciary environment.The firm administers complex domestic and cross-border trust structures and is known for its expertise in directed trusts, high-touch client service, and Nevada trust law. Candidates should be comfortable operating independently while supporting sophisticated clients, advisors, and multi-generational family structures.This is a fully remote position with the rare need to go in person! Must live in the state of Nevada so please do not apply unless you reside in Nevada or are relocating there.What You'll Do as the Trust Officer / Senior Trust Officer:Administer a portfolio of Nevada trusts, including directed and discretionary trustsServe as the primary relationship manager for settlors, beneficiaries, attorneys, advisors, and family officesReview trust instruments and apply fiduciary standards to trust administration decisionsHandle beneficiary requests, discretionary distributions, and ongoing trust maintenanceCoordinate trust onboarding, account openings, transfers, and custodian relationships (Schwab, Fidelity, etc.)Work with complex trust structures, including LLCs, private trust companies (PTCs), and multi-entity arrangementsPartner with internal leadership on cross-border and international trust mattersSupport trust compliance, documentation, and fiduciary administration processesParticipate in annual meetings and client relationship management activities as neededMust-Haves as the Trust Officer / Senior Trust Officer:3+ years of trust administration experience within a trust company, private bank, multifamily office, or fiduciary services environmentExperience administering Nevada trusts and understanding Nevada trust law conceptsFamiliarity with directed trusts, discretionary trusts, and fiduciary administrationStrong understanding of trust instruments and trust operations workflowsExperience working directly with clients, beneficiaries, attorneys, and financial advisorsAbility to independently manage trust relationships and documentationComfortable signing fiduciary and custodian documentation as part of trust administrationNice-to-Haves as the Trust Officer / Senior Trust Officer:STEP, CTFA, CFP, or similar fiduciary/planning credentialsJD, LLM, or estate planning legal backgroundExperience with international or cross-border trustsFamiliarity with private trust companies (PTCs) and complex entity structuresSpanish or Mandarin language skillsOur Client Offers:Performance-based bonus potentialPrimarily remote work environment with minimal in-office requirementsFlexible, low-bureaucracy culture focused on outcomes and professionalism2 weeks PTO initially, increasing with tenure, plus all bank holidays100% employer-paid healthcare with low deductible, including family and dental coverage401k planOpportunity to work alongside nationally recognized trust and estate professionalsExposure to sophisticated domestic and international trust structures
