An employee in this class routinely performs general assignments to relieve an executive of administrative detail. This class differs from that of Admin Assistant 2 in that an incumbent of the latter performs work of greater scope and difficulty. Classes in the Admin Assistant sub-series differ from those in the Admin Services Assistant sub-series in that incumbents of the latter perform duties in direct support of line operations rather than duties which emphasize relieving an executive of administrative detail.ResponsibilitiesServe as primary visitor services contact: answer incoming calls, handle retail sales, and provide accurate cultural information to park guests.Initiate personnel transactions, audit time entry and payroll hours for park employees.Assist with coordination of interpretive programs: history demonstrations, school/group visits, and public events.Work directly with Park Manager to liaise with tribal representatives, cultural advisors, historians, and community partners to ensure respectful, accurate interpretation.Inventory and assist with management of park gift shops and retail operations.
