Senior Desktop Support Technician (On-Site & Travel Role | Multi-Site Support) Contract to HireWe are seeking an experienced Senior Desktop Support Technician to provide advanced technical support across a dynamic, multi-site environment. This role serves as a key escalation point for complex IT issues and supports end users both on-site and remotely. The ideal candidate is hands-on, customer-focused, and comfortable working in fast-paced environments with frequent travel.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripheralsTroubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, operating system, and network connectivity issuesImage, configure, deploy, and maintain Windows workstations and related devicesSupport Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePointPerform device installations, upgrades, replacements, and workstation setups across multiple locationsTravel up to 50% in-state to support branch offices and remote sitesAct as an escalation point for Help Desk and Desktop Support teamsCollaborate with infrastructure, network, and security teams on technical issuesCreate and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articlesMentor junior technicians and contribute to process improvements and IT best practicesQualifications4–6+ years of experience in desktop or end-user IT supportRequired: CompTIA A+ and CompTIA Network+ certificationsStrong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systemsExperience supporting Microsoft 365 and enterprise applicationsFamiliarity with basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi)Experience with Active Directory, Azure AD, and endpoint management tools (Intune, SCCM, etc.) preferredExperience with ITSM/ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, ManageEngine, etc.)Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skillsValid driver's license and ability to lift up to 50 lbsWhat We OfferOpportunity to work in a highly visible senior support roleExposure to diverse environments across multiple locationsHands-on technical challenges and escalation-level support workOpportunities to mentor and influence IT support processesIf you enjoy solving complex technical issues, working directly with end users, and supporting a distributed environment, we'd like to hear from you.
