Logistics Coordinator

Job DescriptionSummary: To oversee the safe storage and transportation of the company’s goods.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:Overseeing all aspects of supply chain operationsOrganizing and managing inventory, storage, and transportationAnalyzing and optimizing logistical proceduresReviewing, preparing, and routing purchase ordersEnsuring the safe and timely pick-up and delivery of shipmentsMonitoring shipments, cost, timelines, and productivity. Addressing and resolving shipment and inventory issuesManaging orders and coordinating stock of materials and equipment to ensure the company has everything neededCommunicating with customersCarrying out visual quality checksKeeping the area clean and organizedEducation/Experience: Experience with forklift and pallet jack beneficial. Basic Math and English at GCSE level or equivalentMust complete 6 weeks of hands-on training to complete forklift training. Obtain and keep forklift certification with ATM. Experience with inventory control beneficial. Experience with material movement throughout a production facility beneficial. Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
