Role: Microsoft Fabric Engineer with Power PlatformLocation: Boston, MA – Onsite Duration: Long Term ContractJob DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Microsoft Fabric Engineer with strong experience in Power Platform and Advanced Analytics to design, develop, and optimize enterprise-scale data and analytics solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and analytics teams to build scalable data platforms, automate workflows, and deliver actionable insights using Microsoft Fabric and Power Platform technologies.The candidate should have hands-on expertise in Microsoft Fabric components including Data Factory, Lakehouse, OneLake, Synapse Data Engineering, Power BI, and integration with Power Apps and Power Automate for business process automation and reporting solutions.Roles & ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain scalable data solutions using Microsoft Fabric. Build and optimize Lakehouse architectures, data pipelines, and data integration workflows. Develop advanced analytics and reporting solutions using Power BI and Microsoft Fabric capabilities. Integrate Power Platform tools including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse with enterprise data platforms. Create interactive dashboards, KPIs, and real-time reporting solutions for business stakeholders. Implement data transformation and ETL/ELT processes using Data Factory and Fabric pipelines. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Automate business workflows and approval processes using Power Automate. Develop secure and scalable applications using Power Apps connected with Fabric and enterprise systems. Optimize data models, queries, and analytics workloads for performance and scalability. Ensure data governance, security, and compliance standards are maintained across platforms. Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide long-term solutions. Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and support continuous improvement initiatives. Document technical designs, architecture diagrams, and deployment processes. Required SkillsStrong experience with Microsoft Fabric Hands-on experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) Experience with Advanced Analytics and Data Engineering Strong SQL and data modeling skills Experience with Azure Data Services and cloud-based architectures Knowledge of ETL/ELT pipelines and data orchestration Experience with Lakehouse, OneLake, and Synapse technologies Familiarity with Python, Spark, or PySpark is preferred Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Preferred QualificationsExperience with enterprise analytics and reporting platforms Microsoft Certifications in Azure, Power Platform, or Fabric Experience working in Agile environments
