Maintenance Junior

We are looking for a FT 1st shift Junior Maintenance Technician that will be responsible for grounds work and upkeep, and assisting maintenance technicians with routine tasks. Duties/Responsibilities: Support and adhere to the NPI Code of Ethics, work rules, policies, plans and procedures to promote a safe and secure environment for the residents, visitors and employees of New Paths. Perform grounds maintenance, including lawn mowing, snow removal, parking lot and sidewalk cleanliness, trimming and edging. Assist in routine maintenance including but not limited to: drywall, painting, building fixtures, mechanical and electrical equipment, preventive maintenance, under direction of Maintenance Supervisor/Technician. Will work independently on many projects. Follow all safety regulations and procedures within the maintenance work area. Qualifications: Experience in lawn care. Experience in a maintenance department. Ability to work independently. Education and Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience in maintenance department/lawn service. Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of standing, walking. Must be able to climb, bend, crawl, use hands/fingers for fine motor skills. Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds at times. Must be able to work indoors and outdoors.
