This full-time on-site role offers a salary range of $75,000–$115,000, depending on experience, along with flexibility and long-term growth potential.This Estimator will work closely with leadership, project teams, customers, and vendors to prepare project estimates, review plans/specifications, coordinate pricing, and support ongoing project opportunities. The role combines office-based estimating work with occasional site visits and customer meetings.The ideal Estimator candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strong communication with both internal teams and external stakeholders.This organization offers a supportive, family-oriented environment where employees are given autonomy and trusted to manage their work effectively. This is an in-person, on-site position in Buffalo, NY.ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed project estimates and bid proposalsReview plans, specifications, and project scope documentsCoordinate pricing with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliersParticipate in customer meetings and project site visitsCollaborate with project managers and operations teams throughout the estimating processMaintain organized project documentation and bid trackingAssist with project handoff and operational coordination after awardUtilize estimating software and tools, including AutoBid where applicableQualifications3+ years of estimating, construction, or project-related experience preferredMechanical, HVAC, piping, or construction industry experience preferred but not requiredStrong attention to detail and organizational abilitiesAbility to manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneouslyStrong communication and interpersonal skillsComfortable interacting with customers, vendors, and field personnelExperience with AutoBid or estimating software is helpful but can be trainedWhat Makes Someone Successful in This RoleStrong ownership mentality and ability to work independentlyOrganized and detail-orientedComfortable balancing office work with field/customer interactionStrong problem-solving and communication skillsTeam-oriented with a collaborative mindsetCompensation & BenefitsSalary range: $75,000–$115,000, depending on experiencePTO and paid sick timeHealthcare benefitsStable organization with long-term growth opportunitiesFamily-oriented work environmentSupportive leadership with minimal micromanagementSchedule & LocationFull-time positionMonday–FridayTypical hours approximately 7:00 AM – 4:00 PMApproximately 75% office / 25% field & customer meetingsThe advertised pay range represents what we believe at the time of this job posting that our client would be willing to pay for this position.
