Week 2: Tues/Weds/Thurs/SatHours: 5:00AM TO 3:30PMPosition Summary:The Facilities Maintenance Technician supports the Maintenance team by ensuring equipment and building systems operate safely and efficiently. This is an experienced-level role working across multiple areas of the facility, including a refrigerated production environment. As a valued member of our company, you will work in a mission-driven environment aimed at preserving the planet's resources while providing healthy plant-based products to millions of consumers around the world.Key Responsibilities:Follow all safety, GMP, PPE, HACCP, and sanitation guidelinesPerform preventive maintenance and basic repairs on facility equipment, furnishings, fixtures, and finishesComplete the facility services portion of work orders accurately and on timeSafely work around moving equipment and conveyors in wet and cold environmentsAssist with minor building moves and facility adjustmentsCoordinate and support contractors and vendors performing repairs, maintenance, or building movesMaintain tool and parts inventory needed to complete workAssist with building inspections and auditsRead and understand MSDS/SDS documentation for chemicals and cleanersCommunicate clearly (verbally and in writing) and complete required documentationKeep work areas clean, organized, and safe at all timesWork independently with minimal supervision and meet deadlinesSupport other maintenance technicians and departments as neededPerform other duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications:GED or High School DiplomaAbility to read, write, and speak English; basic math skills requiredWillingness to work in a cold, wet, fast-paced, 24-hour plant environmentAbility to work a flexible scheduleStrong multitasking and time management skillsBasic understanding of production, quality, and safety KPIsExperience or background in electrical, plumbing, and/or HVAC preferredAbility to safely use manual tools, power tools, ladders, testing equipment, and common paints/lacquersComfortable working with management and cross-functional teamsPhysical Work Environment:While performing the duties of this job, this position entails use of ladders and catwalks to reach production equipment, regularly works near moving mechanical parts and is regularly exposed to extreme cold for extended periods of time. The associate frequently works in high, precarious places. The associate is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.Compensation & Benefits:We offer a competitive starting rate of $23.60/hr commensurate with experience and qualifications.
