Position: Production AssistantSchedule: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Monday thru Thursday) Role Overview:The Production Assistant plays a vital role in ensuring smooth production operations, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and upholding company policies and regulatory standards. This role requires hands-on support in product manufacturing, equipment operation, sanitation, and teamwork to help Deli Star consistently deliver high-quality products. Key Responsibilities: Perform labor tasks in production of company’s products  Support everyday production in specific room and product line  May be temporarily assigned to other areas  Complete paperwork in an accurate and timely manner  Safely and effectively operates mechanical equipment  Adhere to facilities “Lock Out Tag Out” policies and utilize safety  accessories while assembling equipment  Assist with keeping work area clean and orderly  Minimize waste or misuse of raw materials  Keep work area, tools, equipment and product clean at all times  May handle cleaning chemicals,  Ensure all safety procedures are being practiced, correctly and in  compliance including, but not limited to PPE, eye protection, Lock out/Tag out, etc.  Follow company policies and industry regulations  Contribute to a positive work environment at the Deli Star production facility   Practice a safety-first approach to all job duties  Follow Good Manufacturing Practice regulations in the manufacturing of all products  Ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards set by Deli Star, USDA, SQF, and FDA  Demonstrate adherence to the Deli Star Cultiv8 philosophy  Treat all co-workers fairly and with respect  Be a team player and demonstrate excellent communication with the team at all times Additional roles and responsibilities:  Support or assist with other personnel in the day to day operations of this company  Support the quality assurance team to achieve the highest industry standards  Perform other duties as needed  Qualifications: High school diploma or GED with 1-2 years related job experience Experience with manufacturing environment preferred Must have good problem identification and problem-solving skills  Self motivated, good organizational skills and detail oriented with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines promptly  Must be able to work both independently and in a team environment Must be able to reach, pull, and lift up to 50lbs Must be able to walk or stand majority of shift Must be able to work in a cold, damp to hot, wet, and humid environments Frequent sustained lifting, sometimes overhead Repetitive and/or frequent sustained reaching, twisting, bending, and stooping What You’ll Love (Benefits & Perks) -  Comprehensive benefits (medical, dental, vision, etc.) that begin on day one of hire.
