This assignment offers a balanced 7-on/7-off style schedule, manageable patient volume, and the opportunity to practice broad-spectrum inpatient medicine.Assignment Details Location: Ketchikan, AlaskaStart Date: May 21, 2026Duration: Through July 31, 2026Schedule:12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and occasional 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)Approximately 1 week per month (7-on/7-off style)Setting: Inpatient Hospital (25 beds)Compensation & Benefits Competitive rateWeekly direct deposit payTravel & lodging arrangedDedicated recruiter & fast credentialingWhat You'll Do Provide inpatient hospitalist care including rounding and admissionsManage both med/surg and ICU-level patientsMaintain an average daily census of approximately 10 patientsWork independently in a solo provider settingCollaborate with pediatricians (who manage pediatric patients)Utilize EPIC EMR for patient care and documentationRequirements Board Certified in Internal Medicine or related fieldActive Alaska medical license (required at presentation)BLS & ACLS certifications (AHA or American Red Cross)Recent inpatient clinical experience preferredComfortable managing ICU-level patients independentlyWhy You'll Love This LocationKetchikan offers a one-of-a-kind Alaskan experience surrounded by mountains, forests, and ocean views.
