Candidates with recent local projects only. - NO relocationJob Description:RESPONSIBILITIESWe are seeking a Senior .NET Developer with strong experience building enterprise applications in a Capital Markets and Trading environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise with C#, .NET/.NET Core, Angular and/or React, along with a solid understanding of trading workflows, financial products, and front-office technology. This role will work closely with traders, quantitative analysts, business analysts, and technology teams to develop high-performance applications supporting trading, pricing, risk, and market-data functions.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain high-performance applications using C#, .NET, .NET Core, and ASP.NET Core.Build modern, responsive front-end applications using Angular and/or React.Develop RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed applications supporting trading and capital markets platforms.Collaborate directly with traders, portfolio managers, quantitative developers, and business stakeholders to translate trading requirements into scalable technology solutions.Develop applications supporting trade capture, order management, execution, pricing, positions, P&L, risk, and market data.Integrate applications with internal trading systems, market-data platforms, messaging systems, and third-party financial services.Work with real-time and high-volume data while maintaining application performance, reliability, and scalability.Develop reusable UI components, services, APIs, and libraries using modern software engineering practices.Participate in architecture, technical design, code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support.Troubleshoot complex application, integration, performance, and production issues.Work within an Agile/Scrum development environment and participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and technical discussions.Partner with DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and cloud or on-premises deployments.Required Qualifications12+ years of professional software development experience with C# and .NET.Strong experience with .NET Core / ASP.NET Core and object-oriented programming.Hands-on experience with Angular or React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript development.Strong experience developing REST APIs, microservices, and distributed applications.Experience with SQL Server and relational database development, including complex queries and performance optimization.Strong understanding of software design patterns, SOLID principles, data structures, and application architecture.Experience with Git and modern source-control practices.Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.Strong communication skills with the ability to work directly with business and trading stakeholders.Capital Markets ExperienceProven experience developing applications within Capital Markets, Investment Banking, Trading, Brokerage, or Financial Services environments.Strong understanding of one or more areas such as Equities, Fixed Income, FX, Derivatives, Rates, Commodities, or Securities Trading.Understanding of trading lifecycle concepts including orders, executions, allocations, positions, confirmations, settlements, and P&L.Experience working with market data, pricing, trade processing, risk, or order management systems.Familiarity with electronic trading, OMS/EMS platforms, FIX protocol, or exchange connectivity is highly desirable.Ability to understand complex financial requirements and translate them into technical solutions.Preferred QualificationsExperience with FIX Protocol and financial messaging.Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging technologies.Experience with Azure or AWS cloud platforms.Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or containerized applications.Knowledge of Redis, NoSQL databases, or distributed caching.Experience with automated testing frameworks such as xUnit, NUnit, Jest, or Cypress.Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.Experience with performance tuning, concurrency, multithreading, and low-latency application development.Exposure to Bloomberg, Refinitiv/LSEG, ICE, CME, or other market-data/exchange technologies is a plus.Ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate is a hands-on senior engineer who combines strong .NET development skills with modern Angular or React front-end expertise and genuine Capital Markets trading experience.
