Dr. Cohen serves as Medical Director of HOPE Therapeutics and brings that same standard of clinical excellence to her independent Sarasota practice — giving this role both the intimacy of a boutique private practice and the backing of a growing regional network. This is a rare opportunity to join a well-established, highly regarded practice that is expanding its clinical reach to serve younger patients and their families. Dr. Cohen's practice is known for its cutting-edge approach — including precision-guided TMS, intranasal ketamine, and comprehensive psychopharmacology — delivered in a private, serene, cash-pay setting that puts clinical judgment front and center. This new role brings dedicated child and adolescent expertise to a multidisciplinary team that includes psychiatrists, a psychiatric PA, and licensed therapists. The ideal candidate is a skilled, compassionate clinician who thrives in a collaborative, high-quality outpatient environment and is energized by the opportunity to expand access to exceptional psychiatric care for children and adolescents in the Sarasota community.ResponsibilitiesConduct psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and individualized treatment planning for child and adolescent patientsProvide ongoing medication management and psychopharmacological care across conditions, including depression, anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, OCD, and mood disordersCollaborate closely with Dr. Cohen, the clinical team, therapists, and referring providers to deliver coordinated, whole-patient careEngage with families as active partners in the treatment and care planning processMaintain thorough clinical documentation consistent with practice standardsContribute to the continued growth and reputation of the practice within the Sarasota and broader Suncoast communityQualificationsMD or DO with board certification or board eligibility in Child & Adolescent PsychiatryCompletion of both General Psychiatry and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry fellowshipsActive Florida medical license, or ability to obtain oneActive DEA registration and Florida controlled substance licenseExperience in outpatient child and adolescent psychiatric practiceStrong diagnostic and psychopharmacological skills across pediatric and adolescent populationsCollegial, collaborative practice style with a commitment to high-quality, individualized carePay range and compensation packageFlexible engagement structure based on candidate preference and scope.Compensation is competitive and negotiable.Equal Opportunity StatementHOPE Therapeutics is an equal opportunity employer.
