Network Engineer

Basic Qualifications Clearance Eligibility: Ability to obtain a DoD securityclearance (U.S. citizen only). Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of OSI/TCPIP models; Layer 2 (VLANs, ARP, CDP, trunking) andLayer 3 (IP addressing, routing) concepts. Experience: Minimum 3 years planning, building,installing, and troubleshooting network infrastructure. Cisco Expertise: Hands on experience configuring Ciscoswitches and routers via CLI. Problem Solving: Proven ability to diagnose networkoutages and restore service promptly. Certification: Must possess or be able to obtain acybersecurity certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+). Experience with Cisco routing devices such as 4000, and8000 Series platforms. Experience with Cisco switching devices such as 3850,9300 and Nexus switching platforms. Experience with Palo Alto firewall platforms. Experience in the application of DISA (Defense InformationSystems Agency) STIG (Security Technical ImplementationGuides) settings to network computing infrastructure. Familiarity with IP telephony and integration into existing IPnetwork infrastructure.
