Job Description Job Opportunity: Surgical TechnologistOur organization is on the lookout for a committed Surgical Technologist to become a part of our Healthcare & Medical Services team. In this position, you will collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, registered nurses, and other members of the perioperative team to provide safe, compassionate, and efficient surgical care to a diverse range of patients.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and maintain a sterile environment for surgical procedures.Set up surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies.Anticipate the needs of the surgical team before, during, and after operations.Ensure strict compliance with aseptic techniques.Count instruments and sponges in collaboration with the circulating nurse.Support patient safety initiatives throughout each surgical case.Assist with patient positioning and skin preparation.Pass instruments and supplies during surgeries.Handle specimens in accordance with established policies.Participate in room turnover and equipment maintenance to ensure smooth surgical operations.Maintain accurate documentation related to procedures, implants, and supplies.Communicate effectively with all members of the care team to enhance patient outcomes.Working EnvironmentIn alignment with our community-focused culture, you will provide attentive and compassionate service to patients and their families, addressing their physical and emotional needs.
