CNC Setup Technician / CNC Programmer Machinist
Our client, a leader in the fuel dispensing industry, is seeking a skilled CNC Setup Technician / CNC Programmer Machinist to join their team in a clean, heated, and air-conditioned manufacturing environment. Training will be conducted on 1st shift. This role is responsible for setting up, programming, operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining CNC machining equipment to produce high-quality precision components according to engineering specifications and production standards.
*Must have Mazak lathe & Mazatrol experience*
Key Responsibilities
Set up, program, and operate CNC machining equipment including Mazatrol-controlled machines.
Perform CNC programming and CAM programming to optimize machining processes and productivity.
Operate manual machines and assist with tooling setup and adjustments.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and work instructions.
Inspect and approve parts using applicable gauges, bore gauges, CMMs, and other precision measuring instruments.
Verify parts to print using computer-generated test criteria and quality standards.
Troubleshoot machining and tooling issues and collaborate with engineering teams to implement process improvements.
Perform routine machine maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required.
Must pass machinability test.
Prior experience setting up and operating CNC machines required.
Mazatrol programming and setup experience is required.
Experience with turning and horizontal machining preferred.
Strong knowledge of tooling, machining processes, and problem-solving techniques.
Experience with CMM operation and precision measuring instruments.
Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
Familiarity with SolidWorks and CAM programming is a plus.
Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
Strong attendance and reliability required.

Pay range: $36.00–$40.00/hour based on experience
