DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinic Nurse (RN/LVN) to join our team. This role involves caring for patients with chronic autoimmune conditions, supporting providers in delivering specialized treatments, and educating patients on disease management and therapies.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform patient assessments including pain levels, symptoms, and functional statusAssist providers with exams and treatment plansAdminister injections and biologicsMonitor patients for medication effectiveness and adverse reactionsEducate patients on disease processes, treatment plans, and medication managementProvide instruction on self-administration of injectable medicationsTeach lifestyle modifications (diet, exercise, joint protection strategies)Reinforce adherence to therapy and follow-up appointmentsCoordinate care including labs, referrals, and prior authorizationsReview and follow up on lab resultsDocument accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR)Triage patient calls and respond to clinical questionsRequirementsQualificationsCurrent RN or LVN/LPN license in TexasBLS certification requiredKey Skills & CompetenciesStrong clinical assessment and critical thinking skillsExcellent communication and patient education abilitiesAbility to manage complex chronic conditionsAttention to detail and strong documentation skillsCompassion and ability to support patients with long-term illnesses
