The Client Accounting Supervisor is responsible for the leadership of staff and department production in the Claims Accounting Department to ensure day‐to‐day operations, including general support responsibilities related to claims functions servicing Davies North America Shared Services.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the working leader overseeing the daily operations of the Claims Accounting Department to ensure efficient workflow, accuracy, and timely completion of all tasksPartner with the Manager and HR to support department leadership functions, including monitoring daily workflows, performance management, attendance tracking, scheduling, and timecard reviewAdjust workloads as needed to maintain productivity, service levels, and quality standardsPrepare monthly financial statements and related reporting for clients, as well as other financial documents requested by internal or external stakeholdersSupport the Accounting Manager with preparation of Corporate financial statementsWork directly with client financial auditors and present financial statements at client board meetingsProcess and review Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable transactions, including invoices, cash receipts, vouchers, and other financial entriesOversee provider database maintenance, including data entry, updates, W‐9 collection, verification through government websites, additions, and deletionsOversee all aspects of client bank account funding, including daily fund review, request processing, and ongoing trackingManage and analyze Access and Excel databases, ensuring accuracy and integrity of accounting dataBuild, maintain, and update Excel spreadsheets and reporting tools to support decision‐making and operational needsProvide scheduled and ad‐hoc detailed check reports and other customized financial or operational reports based on customer specificationsSupervise, train, mentor, and develop Accounting Coordinators to build a high‐performing and engaged teamReview and ensure quality and accuracy of work prepared by Accounting CoordinatorsSupport departmental growth through ongoing improvements in processes, efficiencies, workflows, and systemsIdentify, recommend, and support implementation of efficiencies and automation opportunities within Claims AccountingParticipate in innovation initiatives, process improvements, and automation projects assigned by the AVP of Claims ManagementSupport various special projects, departmental initiatives, and other assignments as directed by managementPerform additional duties as assigned to meet the needs of the businessThis is a full‐time, fully remote role.Skills, Knowledge & Expertise5-7 years' experience working in accounting and supervisionMust have college degree in accounting and/or CPAStrong communication skills, both oral and writtenExcellent customer service and supervisory skillsGood organizational and time management skillsAdvanced in Excel, Word and other software programs as needed (may require taking outside classes if necessary)Must have the ability to handle confidential informationJob Benefits BenefitsMedical, dental, and vision plans to ensure your health and that of your family.A 401k plan with employer matching to help you build a secure financial future.Our time‐off policies, including Discretionary Time Off for exempt employees and Paid Time Off (PTO) package for non‐exempt employees, reflect our commitment to promoting a healthy work environment.Paid holidays.Life insurance and both short‐term and long‐term disability plans, providing essential financial protection for you and your loved ones.Massachusetts NoticeIt is unlawful in Massachusetts to require or administer a lie detector test as a condition of employment or continued employment.
