Job SummaryThe Human Resources Intern will help modernize how HR information is organized and how work gets done by improving our HR SharePoint site and introducing smarter, more efficient ways of working using AI and Microsoft 365 tools.Key Responsibilities:Review, organize, and improve the HR SharePoint site so content is easy to find, maintain, and use including mirgating and consolidating files from network drive and other SharePoint sites into a structured, user-friendly repository.Help design a clear structure for HR resources (policies, forms, onboarding, manager tools).Clean up outdated or duplicate content.Identify HR processes that could be more efficient and help pilot AI-enabled or automated solutions.Create simple guides or templates to support adoption of new tools and processes.Willing and eager to learn, while helping drive improvements across multiple HR groups such as recruiting, onboarding, HR tech, and payroll.Qualifications:Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree (HR, Business, Communications, Information Systems, or related field).Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Comfortable using Microsoft tools (SharePoint, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Interest in AI, automation, and process improvement.Strong communication skills and discretion with sensitive information.Travel RequirementsThe percentage of travel required for this position is 0 - 10%.Work ScheduleThis position utilizes a Hybrid work schedule: Monday-Thursday (9-hour days) and Friday (4-hour day), with occasional flexibility for business needs.WES reserves the right to change employee's schedule if it is required by operations.Western Midstream does not offer sponsorship of employment-based nonimmigrant visa petitions for this role.Western Midstream is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity in recruiting, hiring, developing, compensating and promoting applicants and employees.
