*Job Title: Senior Full Stack Java Developer* *Location:* Berwyn, PA, with relocation to Wayne, PA *Work Arrangement:* Hybrid — four days onsite and one day remote *Employment Type:* *Contract-to-Hire* *Duration:* Initial six-month contract *Rate:* $52–$56/hour C2C *Experience:* 6–10 years *Job Overview* We are seeking experienced Senior Full Stack Java Developers for a financial-services technology modernization project supporting BNY Mellon's Managed Account Solutions platform. The ideal candidate will have strong backend Java development skills, advanced SQL experience, scripting capabilities, and experience working with investment-related data or financial-services applications. The role emphasizes backend development and ETL, with supporting frontend responsibilities. *Responsibilities*

• Develop and maintain enterprise Java applications.
• Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database logic.
• Develop and maintain ETL processes and data-transformation workflows.
• Contribute to Java upgrades and application modernization initiatives.
• Support financial reporting and investment-data processing.
• Develop and maintain frontend components using JSP, HTML, React, Angular, or related technologies.
• Collaborate with Agile teams using two-week sprint cycles.
• Use AI-assisted development tools to improve coding, debugging, refactoring, and testing workflows.

*Required Qualifications*

• 6–10 years of relevant software development experience.
• Strong hands-on Java development experience.
• Strong SQL development skills, including stored procedures and query tuning.
• Scripting experience; Python is preferred.
• Experience with financial-services or investment-related applications.
• Full-stack development experience with backend emphasis.
• Practical experience with an AI coding assistant or similar development tool.
• Ability to work onsite four days per week in the Philadelphia-area location.

*Preferred Qualifications*

• Java 21 and Oracle Database 19c.
• Python ETL, Perl scripting, or legacy-system migration.
• React, Angular, JSP, HTML, or XML.
• Asset management, managed accounts, equities, fixed income, securities, holdings, positions, or tax lots.
• Bloomberg, ICE pricing, Eagle, Snowflake, or BIRT.
• SAFe Agile experience and Java upgrades in regulated environments.
