Site Director – EV Battery Manufacturing (IFM / Launch Leadership)📍 Michigan (On-site, Full-Time) 💼 Reporting to: COO & VP Operations 🏭 EV manufacturing launch | 24/7 ramp-up environment🔷 About the RoleWe are seeking a Site Director to lead Integrated Facilities Management at a major EV battery manufacturing facility in Michigan during a critical startup and production ramp-up phase.This is a high-visibility leadership role responsible for facility readiness, workforce execution, and operational performance that directly impacts manufacturing uptime and production success.You will lead on-site operations as part of the plant leadership team, partnering closely with OEM stakeholders, construction partners, and internal executives.🔷 Scope of ResponsibilityLead all site facility services (maintenance, cleaning, infrastructure, support services)Manage 120+ employees in a multi-shift operationOversee cleanroom, dry room, and mechanical systems readinessLead through startup, commissioning, and full production ramp-upOwn P&L, including cost control and labor strategyServe as escalation point for operational and production-impacting issuesPartner with OEM leadership, operations, and construction stakeholders🔷 Key Focus AreasOperational stabilization during ramp-upWorkforce integration and leadershipStakeholder alignment and communicationProduction uptime and maintenance performanceSafety, compliance, and cost control🔷 What We’re Looking For10–15+ years in facilities, manufacturing, or industrial operations leadershipExperience leading large multi-shift teams (150–300+)Strong manufacturing background (required)EV / automotive / battery / cleanroom experience preferredStartup, commissioning, or ramp-up experience strongly preferredStrong financial acumen with P&L responsibilityProven stakeholder management in complex environments🔥 Why This RoleLead a flagship EV manufacturing launchFull ownership of a high-value operationHigh-impact role with direct influence on production successBuild systems, structure, and teams from the ground upHigh visibility with OEM and executive leadership
