Controls Engineer

*Job Summary* We are seeking a Senior Controls & Drives Engineer to design, program, troubleshoot, and commission automation systems for complex industrial machinery. This role is heavily focused on PLC programming, HMI development, drives, motion control, and machine automation. The ideal candidate will have strong Allen Bradley/Rockwell experience and a hands-on background supporting automated industrial equipment from programming through startup and troubleshooting. *Requirements* * 5+ years of controls or automation engineering experience * Strong Allen Bradley / Rockwell PLC experience * RSLogix 500 and/or RSLogix 5000 programming experience * PLC programming and troubleshooting experience * Experience with industrial machinery or automated equipment * Experience with electrical control systems * HMI programming or development experience * Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or related field * Hands-on commissioning and troubleshooting experience *Preferred Experience* * Siemens PLCs, Step 7, or TIA Portal * FactoryTalk View * Rockwell automation platforms * Servo motors and motion control systems * Industrial drives and VFDs * Ethernet/IP or Profinet * Experience with Siemens, Yaskawa, ABB, Lenze, Rockwell, Parker SSD, or Control Techniques drives * Customer-facing or field service experience *Responsibilities* * Develop, modify, and troubleshoot PLC and HMI programs for industrial machinery * Program and support Allen Bradley/Rockwell automation systems * Configure and troubleshoot drives, motors, and motion control systems * Integrate PLCs, HMIs, drives, motors, and industrial communication networks * Support machine startup, factory acceptance testing, and commissioning * Troubleshoot automation and machine performance issues * Work closely with Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, and Service teams * Support customer installations and field troubleshooting as needed * Develop technical documentation and automation standards * Identify opportunities to improve machine performance and reliability Job Disclaimer: Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, term life insurance, short-term disability insurance, additional voluntary benefits, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
