Our employees believe we are creating a better world where lives and communities are made whole again through comprehensive treatment.\nAs an LVN (Licensed Vocational Nurse) or LPT (Licensed Psychiatric Technician), you are responsible for providing basic medical services to patients in an outpatient recovery environment; maintaining standards of professional nursing practice, and providing for the safe delivery of medication in accordance with company policy and procedures; and for maintaining thorough documentation of patient records and medical files per state and federal regulations.\nPay Range:\n$24 - $30 per hour\nBenefits:\n\n18 days PTO (Paid Time Off)\n401k with company match\nCompany sponsored ongoing training and certification opportunities.\nFull comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, short term disability, long term disability and accident insurance.\nSubstance Use Disorder Treatment and Recovery Loan Repayment Program (STAR LRP)\nDiscounted tuition and scholarships through Capella University\n\nRequirements:\n\nActive and current California nursing / technician license (includes Registered Nurse, Licensed Vocational Nurse, or Licensed Psychiatric Technician), along with current CPR (Cardiopulmonary resuscitation) and first aid certification.\nExperience with triaging in emergency situations, assisting with medical emergencies.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nImplement all aspects of receiving, storing, and dispensing controlled and non-controlled substances.\nPerform as required by applicable federal and state regulations daily reconciliation of controlled substances.\nMaintain as required by applicable federal and state regulations accurate individual patient medication dosage sheets and urinalysis results.\nAdminister medication dosages and evaluate patients for side effects or reactions.\nDocument and sign entries in patient treatment records as required by applicable federal and state regulations.\nEnsure patient confidentiality and security at the dispensing window.\nAdminister as needed medication to patients who are locally hospitalized.\nProvide appropriate documentation to Medical Director and / or Clinic Manager as required by applicable federal and state regulations.\nEnsure that forms are completed in their entirety.\nMaintain patient charts and filing.\nEnsure knowledge of, and observe, applicable federal and state regulations.\nOrient new patients to the programs' policies, rules, and procedures\n\nJoin our team.
