Group Health Sales & Relationship Manager
Everence Self-Funded Group Health Program Sales Representative Drives growth and client engagement for Everence's self-funded group health programs and related benefit solutions. Builds and maintains strong relationships with faith-based organizations, providing consultative guidance and tailored solutions that align with Everence's mission and values. Through strategic sales efforts and cross-functional collaboration, this position supports long-term partnerships and sustainable growth, primarily serving pooled, faith-based employers operating under church plan status. Responsibilities And Duties Provide relationship management and strategic sales leadership for Everence's self-funded health products, including brokered ancillary products such as vision, dental, life, AD&D, short-term disability, and long-term disability. Identify, develop, and support new business opportunities and prospects. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Boards, CEOs, CFOs, and HR Directors within the client and prospect base. Effectively communicate Everence's unique value proposition in the marketplace. Identify, develop, educate, and support group health clients and prospects to foster strong engagement and build long-term partnerships. Develop and implement sales strategies to expand market presence within Everence's specified niche. Establish and implement efficient sales systems, processes, disciplines, and management reporting tools to enhance sales performance and accountability. Provide referral support for group distribution related to self-funded Third-Party Administrator (TPA) services. Collaborate with marketing team members to develop, maintain, and expand educational resources and sales materials for health and ancillary products. Actively engage in product and service development efforts as necessary. Collaborate with internal team members to troubleshoot issues and resolve client concerns, ensuring timely and clear communication with clients. Carry out additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Experience: Sales and/or relationship management required Experience in health insurance or employee benefits preferred Experience within an Anabaptist or faith-centered organization a plus Skills and Abilities: Possess or be eligible to obtain a Life and Health Insurance License Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex concepts in a simple and effective way Strong skills in public speaking, delivering presentations, and active listening Demonstrated ability to oversee multiple projects at once and lead cross-functional initiatives Willingness to travel, including around 30-40 overnights annually Alignment in supporting the Everence mission of empowering financial well-being for faith-inspired living Supervisory Responsibilities: None Schedule: Full-time
