We want billers and coders who think like owners, not processors.About The RoleWe're looking for a detail-oriented Medical Coder & Biller to manage the full billing cycle for our dermatology clients. You'll handle claims start to finish — coding, submission, follow‑up, and collections — with precision and care. Every detail matters, and your accuracy will keep revenue flowing smoothly.What You'll DoReview patient records and code dermatology procedures (ICD‑10, CPT, modifiers)Submit clean claims and minimize rejection and denial ratesVerify insurance eligibility and benefits before submissionWork denials — identify root causes, appeal when appropriate, and prevent repeat issuesManage A/R and follow up on unpaid claims and patient balancesHandle patient billing questions professionallyCollaborate with providers to improve documentation accuracyMaintain organized, confidential billing recordsTrack payer changes and stay current on coding updatesWhat We're Looking For[REQUIRED] 1+ year dermatology coding (MOHS, J-Codes, etc)Strong ICD-10, DRG, CPT, and modifier knowledgeProficiency with billing software and EHR systemsTakes ownership, doesn't need hand-holding, but is a team playerClear and professional communicator with providers, payers, and patientsCertification in coding is a plus, not requiredWhy You'll Love It HereYou'll join a fun team that takes pride in its work.
