Accounting Operations Manager

Operations Accounting Manager: You will be responsible for managing and overseeing operational accounting activities, including accounts payable and accounts receivable. Supervise and mentor personnel in operational accounting. Lead month-end and year-end closing processes related to operations, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled on time.Identify and implement process improvements, such as automating manual tasks or refining workflows to enhance productivity.Collaborate with other internal teams, e.g., operations, procurement, and sales, to ensure accurate financial data and reporting.Coordinate with external tax advisors on sales & use tax matters.Assist with system implementations, upgrades, and process automation initiatives. Previous experience with ERP implementation is a plus. Maintain robust internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulations.Education & Experience:Degree in Accounting, CPA or CPA Candidate preferredA minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably with 2–3 years in a supervisory or management role.Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills (e.g., PivotTables, VLOOKUPs).Other Skills: Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsDetail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesEffective communication skills, both written and verbalProcess-improvement mindset with a focus on efficiency and accuracyComfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment
