Network Implementation Engineer

Minimum qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Network Engineering, Computer Networking, Telecommunications, Project Management, Operations Management, or a related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a Network Implementation Engineering-related occupation.Position requires 2 years of experience in the following:Installation and commissioning of Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) systems and Internet Protocol (IP) routerDense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) or Coherent Optical system design and troubleshootingTCP/IP routing and switching or IP networking system design for network installation and troubleshootingWide Area Network (WAN) or MPLS protocol operations for deployment and troubleshootingNetwork automationAbout The JobGoogle Cloud accelerates every organization’s ability to digitally transform its business and industry. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Learn more about benefits at Google .Position reports to the Google New York, NY office & may allow for a hybrid schedule as per Google policy.ResponsibilitiesExecute the deployment, maintenance, and scalable operation of private data networks worldwide.Monitor network performance to anticipate needs, triage issues, and orchestrate repairs with appropriate teams.Utilize established design standards to plan for capacity migrations and infrastructure additions.Maintain comprehensive and accurate network documentation, including diagrams, designs, and operational plans.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop cost-effective solutions and adopt new technologies.
