Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a cultural institution, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this armed post, you will support access awareness, respond to security-related concerns, and contribute to a caring, reliable team that puts people first and acts with integrity. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon06:30 AM - 02:00 PMFri02:00 PM - 09:30 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, following security-related policies, and/or responding to emergency situations as appropriate for the location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, including contacting supervisors and/or first responders when needed. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or policy violations according to site procedures. Prepare clear, timely reports of incidents, patrol activities, and daily observations, and support staff, guests, and/or visitors with directions and general assistance as needed.Minimum Requirements: Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience. Possess an armed guard card and/or license. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
