Apply via Dice today!Kelly Science and Clinical FSP is currently seeking a Quality Inspector-1st Shift for a long-term engagement in Bridgewater, MA with one of our Global Medical Device clients. This person will join our Kelly FSP (Functional Service Provider) division, a managed solution provider and business unit of Kelly Services, Inc. You may also be eligible for paid time off, including holiday, vacation, and sick/personal time.Duties:The Quality Technician I will perform inspections of machined components, assemblies and castings to support receiving inspection, validations, and process improvement activities.Will perform open set-up inspections utilizing a variety of inspection equipment and visual standards. Support Raynham Operator Certification initiatives throughout the facility.Mechanical inspection will be performed.The Quality Technician will utilize GD&T and blue print reading skills daily.Qualifications Required:A minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent required.Manufacturing background is required.0-2 years of inspection experience in a precision machining and/or casting environment .Excellent written, oral communication, organization and computer skillsPreferred skills:Medical Device inspection experience.Blue print interpretation skills and a working knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) applicationsWorking knowledge of various applications of shop mathematicsASQ CertificationOptical Comparators experienceCMM operating experience is a plus
