Company: Mavel Field ServicesLocation: Based out of [Raleigh/Benson, NC] – Travel RequiredJob Type: Full-TimePay: $20–$30/hour (based on experience) + Overtime + Travel Pay⸻Job DescriptionMavel Rental Services is hiring Traveling Sewer Bypass Technicians / Laborers to support sewer bypass installations and 24/7 bypass monitoring across multiple job sites.We specialize in temporary sewer bypass systems for municipalities and contractors during pipeline repairs and emergency work. This role requires travel and the ability to work long hours in the field.If you’re dependable, don’t mind being on the road, and want steady work with overtime — this is a strong opportunity.⸻Responsibilities • Assist with setup and breakdown of sewer bypass systems • Install and handle lay-flat hose, HDPE pipe, pumps, and fittings • Monitor bypass systems during active operations (including overnight shifts) • Troubleshoot issues and respond quickly to maintain flow • Work alongside crews and project managers on active job sites • Maintain a safe and organized work environment⸻Travel Requirements • Frequent out-of-town travel required (regional and occasional long-distance) • Jobs may last several days to multiple weeks • Must be available for on-call and 24/7 operations while on site⸻Work Schedule • Long hours, including nights and weekends • Overtime is common and expected • Rotating shifts during active bypass operations⸻Requirements • Valid driver’s license (CDL is a plus) • Ability to travel on short notice • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in all conditions • Comfortable working around sewer systems and construction environments • Reliable, punctual, and able to work without constant supervision⸻Preferred (Not Required) • Experience with bypass pumping, dewatering, or underground utilities • Mechanical, diesel, or pump experience • Experience working on traveling crews⸻Compensation & Benefits • Competitive hourly pay + overtime • Per diem / travel allowance (if applicable) • Company-paid hotels for out-of-town work • Steady work with a growing company • Opportunities for advancement into lead roles • Health insurance and benefits (if applicable)⸻Why Work With UsWe operate in a high-demand, specialized industry with consistent work and strong earning potential.
