Class A CDL Driver OTR

Responsibilities Transport goods safely and efficiently over long distances, adhering to all federal and state regulations, including hours-of-service (HOS) laws. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, documenting any defects or issues. Utilize GPS and electronic logging devices (ELDs) to plan routes, track hours, and ensure compliance. Secure all cargo properly to prevent damage during transport. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients, providing status updates and resolving any delivery-related issues. Ensure timely delivery of freight while prioritizing safety and compliance. Represent the company professionally during all interactions at pickup and drop-off locations. Keep the tractor and trailer clean and organized. Qualifications Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A). A minimum of 2 years of verifiable OTR experience with a clean driving record, training program is available if you have less than the 2 years experience! Ability to pass a background check and DOT drug test. Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols. Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELDs) and route navigation software. Tanker Endorsement encouraged. Excellent time management and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively on the road.
