This role requires extensive experience, deep technical expertise, and leadership skills to drive innovation and excellence.ResponsibilitiesExpert in SQL database design, database development, performance tuning and code optimization using T-SQL including integration architectureExpert-level architecture and implementation of complex enterprise database solutions, OLTP processingLead major engineering initiatives including database consolidation, cloud migration, and optimization projectsEstablish and enforce enterprise-wide development standards, coding practices, and architectural patternsMentor and coach Database Engineer team members at all levels, fostering technical excellence and innovationDevelop and deliver advanced technical training to database development teams on technologiesCollaborate with executive leadership to align database engineering strategy with business objectivesStay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in database development and cloud platformsAct as technical decision-maker for critical database engineering projects and architectural choicesLead cross-functional collaboration efforts to drive complex technical deliverablesDevelop comprehensive development standards for SQL and database design practicesArchitect enterprise cloud solutions across multiple platforms (OCI, AWS, Azure)Lead evaluation and adoption of new technologies, tools, and development methodologiesDesign and implement advanced data processing solutions including real-time analytics and big data integrationProvide technical expertise for complex database integrations with multiple enterprise systems and platformsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent8+ years of database development and engineering experienceCertified Professional in Database Development or Certified Expert in Database Technologies preferredExperience with multiple RDBMS platforms requiredInComm Payments provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or national origin, citizenship, veteran’s status, age, disability status, genetics or any other category protected by federal, state, or local law.This position is eligible for the Employee Referral Bonus Program Tier IV
