Job TitleSchedule: 6:00AM to 2:30PM, Monday through Friday. Pay Rate: $18-$19/hr Key Responsibilities Follow all Nelson Global standards, policies, and safety procedures Perform MIG welding on stainless and mild steel materials Weld unfamiliar parts using full-scale drawings Fabricate parts from drawings, samples, or instructions with minimal supervision Inspect finished products to ensure accuracy and quality Communicate effectively with other departments as needed Maintain a clean and organized work areaQualifications and Skills Working knowledge of welding equipment and ability to troubleshoot and adjust as needed Ability to read blueprints and full-scale drawings Basic math skills, including decimals and percentages Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently Basic computer skills Knowledge of common materials and inspection tools Understanding of routine production procedures, including loading/unloading parts and quality checks Good verbal and written communication skillsEducation and Experience Minimum of 1 year of welding experience required MIG and/or TIG welding experience preferred Must successfully pass a welding test as part of the hiring processPhysical Requirements Ability to lift, push, and pull materials throughout the shift Lift up to 30 lbs consistently and up to 50 lbs occasionally Stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods Maintain continuous mental and visual focus Work in hot, cold, and noisy environments with exposure to fumes, dust, and odors Overtime and schedule adjustments may be required to meet production needs Required PPE includes safety glasses, ear protection (as needed), and steel-toed boots
