Maintenance Technician - 3rd Shift
Position PurposeMaximize productive time of equipment. Improve the reliability and repeatability of production systems. Provide support to production associates as they assume greater responsibility for the maintenance of their own equipment. Coordinate and assist with the equipment installation and start-up.Essential FunctionsComplete periodical and incidental machine maintenance in an accurate and timely manner. Perform preventive maintenance as outlined on preventative maintenance schedules of equipment manufacturer’s recommendations. Plan and implement corrective action in conjunction with management direction. Comply with all safety standards and regulations. Maintain building, equipment, and grounds in a clean and orderly manner. Assist in the purchase of maintenance supplies and equipment parts as required or directed.Close out work orders using the maintenance scheduling software. Maintain regular attendance.Other duties as assigned.Education and TrainingHigh School Diploma / GED Required. Associate’s Degree in Industrial Maintenance or other related degree program preferred.Minimum Qualifications2+ years maintenance experience required2 years’ experience with PLC’s preferred5 years’ experience w/480 electric preferredMust be proficient in diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical, electronic, fluid power, mechanical and plumbing systemsFamiliar with Siemens and/or Allen Bradley CNC Controls preferredShould be familiar with applicable regulatory requirements outlined by OSHA, EPA, NFPA, NEC and other state/local organizationsMachining and welding capabilities requiredGood computer skills required to include Microsoft Office applications Physical DemandsFrequent lifting, bending, twisting.Standing for long periods of timeEnvironmental ConditionsManufacturing EnvironmentBehavioral Traits Ability to work independently and as a team Effective oral and written skills mandatoryExcellent interpersonal and collaboration skills requiredExcellent mechanical aptitudeExcellent communication and time management skillsMotivated / Self-Starter We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
