Guided by its faith-inspired values, Children Believe works through trusted partnerships to support children and communities in some of the world's most vulnerable contexts.Chief Executive Officer (CEO)Reporting to the Board of Directors, the CEO provides strategic, operational, financial, and people leadership to advance Children Believe's mission and strengthen the organization's platform for long-term impact. The CEO will guide a dedicated team across headquarters and global operations, lead the organization through a period of leadership transition and renewal, and advance a diversified revenue strategy, including driving the evolution of the organization's business and operating model to support sustainable growth and impact. As the organization's principal ambassador, the CEO represents Children Believe to donors, partners, faith communities, sector networks, media, and international stakeholders, while fostering a values-driven culture grounded in accountability, collaboration, and impact.ResponsibilitiesProvide strategic, operational, financial, and people leadership to advance the organization's mission.Guide a dedicated team across headquarters and global operations.Lead through leadership transition and renewal.Advance a diversified revenue strategy and evolve business and operating model for sustainable growth.Represent the organization to donors, partners, faith communities, sector networks, media, and international stakeholders.QualificationsSenior executive experience in a complex, mission-driven organization.Track record of building, developing, and motivating high-performing teams.Sound governance, financial, and operational acumen.Proven ability to fundraise, develop partnerships, and lead large organizations.Entrepreneurial spirit, judgment, and ability to identify new opportunities and adapt business and operating models.Credible, engaging communicator comfortable representing the organization nationally and internationally.Experience in the not-for-profit or international development sector (asset).Experience working across cultures and geographies (asset).Respect for Children Believe's faith-based heritage and ability to support its mission and values.TravelDomestic and international travel is required.
