Crate Builder/Carpenter

AVANTech's goal is to improve the environment around us and support our clients with innovative sustainable water treatment solutions.Job Duties:Fabricating wooden crates or boxes around large or odd-shaped equipment using woodworking hand tools and powered toolsHave the ability to read and understand blueprints and other specifications and inspect products to determine size and shape of container necessaryAttention to detail both work and accompanying documentationExperience using a forkliftQualifications:Must have three (3) to five (5) years hands-on experience in carpentry/constructionAbility to read a tape measureAttention to detailAbility to read drawingsAbility to drive a forkliftMust be able to lift 50 pounds and stand for the majority of the work dayEducation Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent. Additional education preferred.All candidates must be able to pass drug test, pre-employment physical, and background investigation.Job Type: Full-time, non-exempt, hourly.
