TITLE: Plant ManagerTYPE: Direct HireLOCATION: Fairless Hills, PAONSITE/REMOTE/HYBRID: OnsiteSHIFT: 1st Shift, M-FWe are seeking a seasoned Plant Manager to step into a critical leadership role due to an upcoming retirement. This individual will partner closely with the current Plant Manager during a transition period, gaining hands-on exposure to operations while beginning to implement process improvements and operational efficiencies.This role has recently expanded in scope, absorbing additional responsibilities aligned with broader operational leadership, making it a high-impact position within the organization.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Lead day-to-day plant operations across welding, fabrication, and assembly functionsDrive labor cost reduction initiatives while maintaining quality and throughputImprove production scheduling, workflow, and overall plant efficiencyEvaluate and optimize plant layout for better material flow and productivityImplement process improvements and operational best practices (continuous improvement mindset)Utilize MRP/ERP systems to support planning, inventory, and production managementPartner with leadership to align plant performance with business objectivesProvide leadership, coaching, and direction to production teamsIDEAL BACKGROUND:10+ years of manufacturing leadership experience, ideally in a plant or operations leadership roleStrong background in welding, fabrication, and assembly environmentsExperience with MRP/ERP systems in a manufacturing settingProven track record of improving processes, reducing costs, and optimizing operationsExposure to Lean/Kaizen concepts preferred, but not required (must understand best practices)Ability to step into an established operation and elevate it furtherEOE STATEMENTWe are an equal opportunity employer.
