Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Developmental Therapist to join our team through the First Steps program in Indiana. As a Developmental Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing early intervention services to infants and toddlers with developmental delays or disabilities. Your expertise will help children achieve their developmental milestones, improve their quality of life, and empower their families. Responsibilities: - Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the developmental needs of infants and toddlers. - Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results. - Provide evidence-based developmental therapy services in various settings, including homes, childcare centers, community locations, etc. - Collaborate closely with families to set achievable goals and involve them in the therapy process. - Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, progress reports, and service delivery. - Offer guidance and support to families, educating them on developmental milestones and techniques for stimulating development. - Stay current with best practices and trends in pediatric developmental therapy. Qualifications: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field (e.g., Early Childhood Education, Special Education, etc). -Experience working with infants and toddlers with developmental delays or disabilities is preferred. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with families and other healthcare professionals. - Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to helping children reach their full potential. - Reliable transportation to travel to various service locations. -Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus, and candidates with this skill will receive higher compensation.
