Electronics Test Technician

Title: Electronics Test TechnicianLocation : Oldsmar, FLDuration : 12 months contractCitizenship Requirement: US Citizens or Perm ResidentsShift: 4/10-1st Shift Mon-Thurs 5 AM-3:30 PM EST with OT available on the weekends.Job Description:Set up test apparatus and conduct tests of electronic circuit card assemblies, RF circuits, and subassembly units, following detailed methods, procedures, standards, and sequences.Assemble units for production electronic equipment based on design specifications.Adjust and calibrate systems as required and correct malfunctions by adjusting or replacing components.Use hand and small power tools, along with a variety of measuring and testing devices.Determine test types, approve/suggest modifications to test equipment, and analyze results to evaluate product performance.Assist engineers in designing test procedures for new products and suggest product or manufacturing improvements.Troubleshoot down to the component level using schematic diagrams for analog and digital circuitry.Work in a fast-paced production environment to meet customer deadlines.Use devices such as digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, network analyzers, signal generators, RF power meters, and frequency standards.Basic Qualifications:1+ year of direct experience testing electronic assembliesProficient in component-level troubleshooting of solid-state, digital, and RF circuitsExperience using Microsoft Office Suite and data collection software for maintenance documentationExperience with flying probe and high-power testingDesired Skills:Extensive RF testing experienceFamiliarity with radar systemsMilitary "backshop" experience (preferred) - candidates who repaired/troubleshot systems in a military settingEducation Requirements:High School Diploma or equivalentAdditional specialized technical training equivalent to a technical Associate degree or demonstrated ability to perform para-engineering tasks
