Cloud Platform Engineer (PaaS) with Security Clearance

ACTIVE TS/SCI SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED** About This Role We're looking for a skilled Hybrid Cloud Platform Engineer to join a collaborative Agile team building and maintaining a large-scale Platform as a Service (PaaS) capability for an Intelligence Community customer. This is mission-critical work — you'll be helping teams across multiple security domains deploy applications and data services on a modern, cloud-native platform. What You'll DoOperate and maintain Red Hat OpenShift environments across multiple security domains — both in the cloud and on-premises (vSphere)Support key OpenShift frameworks including Crossplane, Kyverno, and Red Hat GitOpsDeploy OpenShift to new sites as the platform expandsCollaborate with internal and external teams to understand integration needs and scale the platform accordinglyPartner with Security teams to ensure compliance and build secure-by-design solutionsManage data services including RabbitMQ, Redis, PostgreSQL, and the Elastic StackWrite clear, thorough documentation to support teammates and future maintainers What We're Looking For Required:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field5–8 years of developer or platform engineering experienceActive TS/SCI clearanceDoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (one of the following): Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, GSEC, GICSP, CySA+, or CCNA Nice to Have (but not all required — bring what you have!):Hands-on experience deploying and managing Red Hat OpenShift in cloud or vSphere environmentsFamiliarity with AWSScripting skills in Python or Shell, and comfort with GitExperience with Linux (RHEL/RHCOS, CentOS)CI/CD experience using GitLab CI or JenkinsKnowledge of container technologies — Docker, Kubernetes, and the broader CNCF ecosystem Why You'll Love Working HereWork on meaningful, high-impact missions that matter at a national levelJoin a team that values autonomy and trust — you'll own your workGrow your skills in a modern cloud-native environmentBe part of an Agile team that moves fast and collaborates openly Ready to Apply? The salary range for this position is typically $175-185k.
