The Junior Specialist will serve as a research team member within the department and contribute to ongoing research projects under the supervision of faculty investigators.The incumbent will assist with research activities including data collection and management, literature review, protocol development support for multiple concurrent studies, data analysis, interpretation of findings, and preparation of manuscripts for publication. The Junior Specialist will collaborate with faculty, trainees, and research staff to support the successful execution of research objectives.This position requires the incumbent to work2-3 days per week at Washington Hospital in Fremont, California , with remaining time at UCSF-affiliated research locations as needed. The role may also requireoccasional evening and weekend availabilitybased on research scheduling needs.Basic QualificationsBaccalaureate degree (or equivalent degree) by the time of hire.Applicant's materials must list (pending) qualifications upon submission.Additional QualificationsSome research experienceAbility to follow established research protocolsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailEffective written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a research team
